SILENT AUCTION TALENT SHOW PERFORMANCES
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 @ 4:30-7:30 PM
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the CHS Theatre Silent Auction, is fast approaching on Friday, October 5, and our preparation is underway! We like to use the Silent Auction as an opportunity to showcase the incredible talent from the students in our theatre department, and as such, we will be holding auditions for the Talent Show portion of the Silent Auction on Wednesday, September 19 from 4:30 – 7:30 pm in the Black Box Theater at Coppell High School.
Talent Show acts can be solo, duet, or group. They can feature any kind of talent imaginable –singers, rappers, dancers, monologues & scenes, standup comedy, bands & musicians, juggling acts, contortionists, martial arts – you name it! Just show us what you’ve got – it’s what makes our group of students in the program so unique. All students enrolled in a Theatre or Technical Theatre class at CHS or CHS9 are eligible to audition (including students who commute from New Tech)!
Interested? Please make sure you bring any necessary musical tracks on a CD or flash drive, show us your costume (if any), make sure your performance is school appropriate, keep it under 3 minutes long, and show up at the auditions on Wednesday, September 19 from 4:30 – 7:30 pm in the Black Box. We hope to see you there (and at Twisted Root Burger Company afterward for our first monthly CHS Theatre Spirit Night)!
** Students in Broadway Bound and Studio Premiere will audition in class for Mrs. Ruth; all others should attend the after school auditions.
Contact Mrs. Ruth at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.

Cast and Crew Lists
Thank you to EVERYONE who came out to audition for the cast of All Shook Up - you are all incredibly talented! It was a pleasure to watch each and every one of you, and we had some very hard decisions to make with this cast! Mr. T was also very impressed with his tech crew interviews, and is looking forward to working with you all. We still have 4 alternate tech positions to be filled, so if you're interested, please contact Mr. T!
If you were cast in the show, our first rehearsal is this SUNDAY, AUGUST 26 @ 1-4 pm in the auditorium, followed by a mandatory parent meeting in the auditorium @ 4-6 pm. We'll see you on Sunday!
